As a natives of California we discovered Blackfoot, Idaho on a RV Trip that took us through Blackfoot on our way to Montana in 2024. Let me just say that I feel in Love with the small town feel in Blackfoot and of course was shocked at the prices of homes compared to So Cal. Well lo and behold I found a Second Home in Blackfoot that was affordable that hope to enjoy for a few months each year to get away from the Extreme Desert Heat in the Coachella Valley from July - September , Blackfoot does have hot Summers in the 80s and maybe 90s for a few days but nothing like the Desert and Blackfoot is just a few hours away from Jackson Hole Wyoming , Sun Valley Idaho and Yelowstone. Closest Regional Airport is in Idaho Falls.
